Dr. Madrid has 30+ years of experience and knowledge treating both acute and chronic conditions. From college, he knew that an integrated and multi-disciplined approach to patient care is what will lead to the greatest success for the patient. Early on in his career he began working closely with spine surgeons and has been in many surgeries of his patients to get a surgical perspective for spinal correction. While residing in California, he became a Qualified Medical Examiner for workers’ compensation and performed many impairment evaluations. He is a Board Certified Chiropractic Physician and is also licensed to practice Physical Medicine Modalities and Therapeutic Procedures in the State of Arizona. He is also Certified and Fellow Trained by the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture to practice Acupuncture.
He earned his Bachelor¹s of Science in Human Biology at California State University, Northridge, and his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Southern California University of Health Sciences (formerly Los Angeles College of Chiropractic).
His unique skillset and experience have allowed him the opportunity to work with patients of all ages and abilities, including amateur and professional athletes. He worked with and treated many on the Pro Rodeo circuit for 10 years in the mountain states region.
Dr. Madrid utilizes a number of safe and effective treatment methods including Activator, Diversified, and Thompson Drop adjusting techniques. His office is equipped with the latest in physical medicine modalities including cold laser, EMS, and spinal decompression which is very effective for many spinal disc and nerve conditions. All patients are placed on an active home care program to enhance their recovery and manage their condition for the long term.
He works closely with other medical professionals and will coordinate patient care with a team approach. He understands that surgery is always the last option.
In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, lifting weights, golf, cycling, and spending time with his wife and two dogs in the outdoors.

Education
In 2016, Dr. Madrid "went back to school" to improve his personal injury training and education through the Academy of Chiropractic. He is on one of a hand full of chiropractors that have spent extensive hours of additional education away from his practice in addition to many hours from medical academia including renowned neuroradiologist, neurosurgeon, and vascular neurologist to learn more on spine trauma to better diagnose and manage traumatic spine patients. In 2018, he completed course training and examinations to become a Qualified Trauma Team Member. In 2019, he is currently working towards his fellowship in Spinal Biomechanics and Spine Trauma.
