Dr. Henthorn grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, in California. She earned her B.S. degree in Business Information Resource Management with a minor in foreign languages from San Jose State University. She worked at Stanford University for several years and then attended Palmer College of Chiropractic West, in San Jose, California. She graduated from Palmer in 1996, Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Henthorn later moved to Arizona with her husband and son in 1999.
Dr. Henthorn is the chiropractic coordinator for the Phoenix chapter of Flying Samaritans and has been flying down to Mexico with them since 2001. The Flying Samaritans fly down to Mexico once a month to administer health care of every specialty.
Dr. Henthorn has a certification in Whiplash and Brain Traumatology from the Spine Research Institute of San Diego (2006). She is a member of the Institute of Personal Injury Physicians. Dr. Henthorn is also certified in animal chiropractic by the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association and enjoys adjusting animals of all types if they have a spine.
