Jamie Jiao, MD is a board-certified physiatrist and a board-eligible interventional pain physician. After graduating from the University of Virginia, he completed his medical studies at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA. Dr. Jiao then spent a year in Pittsburgh, PA, completing an internship in internal medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center at Shadyside-Presbyterian. Subsequently, he traveled south to Atlanta, GA, where he continued his post-graduate medical training in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Emory University. Afterward, he stayed on at Emory to complete an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Pain Medicine. Dr. Jiao firmly believes in a multidisciplinary approach to pain medicine, with compassionate care and patient safety being paramount. In his free time, Dr. Jiao enjoys traveling, strolling in nature, cooking, and listening to podcasts.
